Valerie Red-Horse Mohl named to new Treasury Advisory Committee on Racial Equity
October 4, 2022 (New York, NY) — U.S. Secretary of the Treasury announced the inaugural members of the Treasury Advisory Committee on Racial Equity. The first-of-its-kind committee will provide advice on efforts to advance racial equity in the economy and address acute disparities for communities of color.

Red-Horse Mohl launched the first Native American owned full-service investment bank on Wall Street in 1997 and since then has served as a financial advisor, asset manager and banker to over 50 tribal nations with a focus on access to optimal capital and equitable terms. She is the CFO of East Bay Community Foundation; as the CEO and Executive Director (2018-2020) for Social Venture Circle (SVC); and on the U.S. Impact Investing Alliance Advisory Board.
